Maths

I am learning to instantly recognise patterns to 5. 

I am playing my maths game of matching sets up with numbers.

"I know that 3 dots will be the number 3. 2 dots will look like the number 2" said Ray

Writing

I am learning to write tidy so that anyone can read my stories. Look at my letters and how they are sitting on the line.

"I can write on Miss J's writing to form my letters" said Ray

Reading

I am learning to recognise my high frequency sight words. Look at my game I can play, I can recognise, read and write my words! 

"I like playing this game. I am learning to write my words" said Ray

Butterfly Art

We learnt hot to make stain glass windows. Look at my beautiful butterfly.

"I go from flower to flower" said Ray

Maths

I am learning to match numbers with symbols and words up to 10. Here I am playing my maths activity "Bingo!"

"I am matching numbers" said Ray.

Writing

 

I can publish my story writing and illustrate my work. In our big book we learnt about the life cycle of a chicken. Here is my chicken.

"My chicken" said Ray.

Reading

I am learning to match lowercase letters to uppercase letters.

"B with little b" said Ray

Showcase

We are learning to grow our own plants. We know it needs sun and water to grow. Take a look at what 4 weeks of growing looks like!

"I am growing my plant tall" said Ray

Reading

I am learning to look at the pictures to help me with unknown words.

"Pictures are here and it is a butterfly" said Ray.

Maths

I am learning to identify numbers to their matching symbols.

"They match. 2 and 2" said Ray.

Writing

I am learning to use my alphabet card to help me with beginning sounds with my writing.

"Letters help me" said Ray.

Rugby Clinic

I am learning how to hold the ball and run in Rugby. I am learning how to pass the ball to a friend.

Maths

I am learning how to write numbers correctly to 5 and how to put them in order! I am on my way to learning more numbers.

Reading

This year I am on my way to learning so many new letters, sounds and words in reading. Check out all the letters, sounds and words I have learnt so far. 

Showcase

I learnt lots of new soccer skills at the soccer clinic workshop. I learnt how to kick a ball while running.

Writing
